Coleman & Toe Jail for Illegal Possession of Firearms

IPNEWS – Monrovia: The Monrovia City Court has sent to jail Abraham Coleman, alias Shaky and Prince Toe, alias Mohammad Salah for Illegal possession of firearms. Defendant Coleman and Toe has been Charged for Criminal Conspiracy and Possession and Sale of Physical Objects for Lethal use.

Defendants Coleman and Toe were arrested, acquainted with his constitutional rights, thoroughly investigated and subsequently charged.

Liberia National Police inspector, Charles O. Cassell, on Wednesday, June 12, 2021, said about 0945hrs, he received Intelligence that some unknown men were in possession of fire arm and ammunition in Jah Tondo Town in Brewerville.

Inspector Cassell told journalists that the police move in the area and arrested defendant Toe and Coleman with one UZI raffle, two UZI magazines.

He explained he saw defendant Coleman with one UZI raffle, two UZI magazines, eight live UZI rounds, seventy one (71) 9mm rounds, 18 M-4 rounds which were turned over for investigation.

During the Police investigation conducted with defendant Coleman and Toe, they voluntarily admitted to the commission of the crimes of Criminal Conspiracy and Possession and Sale of Physical Objects for Lethal use.

The defendants told the investigation team the found the gun and ammunition and two flat screen televisions in an abandoned house along the Monrovia-Tubmanburg, Bomi County highway. They however failed to say how they got to know about the gun, ammunition the two televisions in the reported house, but added they had gone to the house to steal.
