By: Winston Blyden Sr.

IPNews-Monrovia: A specialized committee on the Executive Mansion Renovation of the House of Representatives has identified a serious collusion between government entities and the construction companies contracted to renovate the building.

A preliminary report of the committee, a copy of which is in the possession of IPNews described the  renovation project as a ‘complex web’ of apparent collusion between and among all the institutions involved in the renovation.

According a committee headed by Grand Gedeh County Representative George Boley, several companies, contractors, and individuals associated with the ongoing investigation are yet to be identified.

The Committee stated that the first Chinese company contracted to renovate the building used substandard materials triggering the hiring of another company to continue the renovation.

They however requested additional three months to continue the investigation based on the complex and sensitive nature of the investigation.

Here is the Chief clerk of the House Mildred Siryon reading a portion of the committee’s recommendation.
