IPnews-Monrovia:President George Manneh Weah, has with immediate effect reinstated suspended Environmental Protection Agency-EPA, Nathaniel T. Blama.
Hon. Nathaniel T. Blama was suspended hours after he came down with the COVID-19 virus on March 16,2020, following a voluntary testing and diagnoses at the John F. Kenneh Medical Center-JFK.
Blama during his illness confirmed to all medical procedures prescribed by Health officials in Liberia.
It may be recalled, Nathaniel Blama waa suspended for what Health officals termed as ‘Bridge of Health Potocals’, at the Roberts International Airport. A Claimed which has since been denied.
Prior to Blama’s Suspension, hosted for first time in Africa the Global Environmental Conference, or the Green Climate Fund conference, to which the government of Liberia, realized a mouthwatering 50 Million in Environmental aaaid to climate change and coastal defense system.
In a related development, President George Weah has made additional nominations in government affecting the Civil Service Agency and the Ministry of Justice.
Those named with immediate effect today, July 30, 2020, by the Liberian Chief Executive are James Thompson, Director General of the Civil Service Agency (CSA) and Abraham Mitchell, Assistant Minister for Codification at the Ministry of Justice.
They are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.
Additionally, the Liberian Chief Executive has suspended with immediate effect Mr. Myer Beaty of the National Transit Authority (NTA).
Mr. Beaty, Deputy Managing Director for Administration, is suspended for administrative reasons for one month without pay.
